Carl Grinter is a collaborative animation, visual effects and immersive media designer, producer and supervisor working in the London film, advertising and music networks since 1987. 

Carl has been managing commercial creative businesses since 1992 when he started GB with two designer friends hiring high end compositing systems in night time down times to produce broadcast promo's and branding, music promos, commercials and short films. His interest in producing  high quality innovative visual design and animation enabled a growing interest in analogue and digital divides  through developing technologies  requiring hands on application. His constant development through pre-rendered to real-time practices places him ideally in virtual production and immersive-media production for feature and short films, advertising, music entertainment, art and cultural museums and brand experiences and events.

We welcome working with artists, directors, producers, agency & client creative  & production departments, production companies, record company & music content commissioners plus other VFX supervisors & VFX producers. Carl was previously Commercial Director/Director of Production at Rushes Post-production London (part of the global Deluxe group and previously Ascent-Media) for 11 years. He was a managing director at Red Post Production, where he built a highly creative team of 45 artists from scratch as a partner and major shareholder. His career started in animation at Hibbert Ralph Animation learning 2d animation, 3D stop frame and live action production prior to getting involved in early computer animation, digital compositing and visual effects learning both analogue film and  digital integration techniques from one of London's early and greatest pioneers in animation and visual effects director Jerry Hibbert at Hibbert Ralph Animation.
